Costco Coupons, Member-Only Savings, September 2021

Costco will be closed Monday, September 6, 2021

Costco Member-Only Savings, September 1, 2021 – September 26, 2021.

Savings are available only to current Costco members.

I like this month’s savings (September 2021).

Finally! Hershey’s Nuggets are on sale. I mean, chocolate of any kind is finally on sale at Costco. Jarlsberg Cheese Wedges are always good, but I may not buy it because I am saving money. After reading David’s blog, I am tempted to try Amylu Andouille Chicken Sausage. I shall get Oikos Greek Yogurt.

And I have some more items on my Costco shopping list. So, it looks like a plan. I look forward to my September Costco shopping (2021). I hope there will be some Christmas items.

Tramontina Cast Iron Skillets

I’ll have to try the product, but they are from Costco. So, I have a high expectation.

A set of Tramontina’s 2-piece Cast Iron Skillets is $29.99 with free shipping at the Costco website. The set contains 10-inch & 12-inch skillets, both with removable grips. They are pre-seasoned. FYI: I have never seen an unseasoned cast-iron skillet being sold anywhere.

Delivered by UPS in 2 working days

The shipping is free. I thought that was amazing for 2 cast iron skillets.

To be honest, I ordered these skillets mainly because I wanted to look cool. I have seen people cooking with cast iron skillets before. And they always seemed cool and deep. So, I wanted to look cool, too. I will learn how to cook with these. I shall widen my repertoire in the kitchen. I will show you…

Cast iron skillets require special attention when cleaning. I need to avoid dishwashers, avoid soap, dry them quickly, and oil them.

Order date: August 13, 2021

Costo has an ongoing relationship with Tramontina. I purchased 7 pans in the above picture at Costco. All 6 round-shaped pans bear a Tramontina stamp on the bottom. The pot on the left is a Kirkland Signature. It was $1 at a garage sale. One dollar! I’ve been enjoying that pot for over 4 years now. God bless kind-hearted rich people.

Mocha Freeze = Guaranteed good timez

This is my 4th Mocha Freeze in 18 days.

Since I discovered Costco’s Cold Brew Mocha Freeze, I just cannot get enough of this sweet coffee treat. I realize I need to drink less of this. Although they are much cheaper than what you get from local coffee shops, they still eat away my finance. And they hurt my diet (580 Calories). But, I had to get one on a day like this, because Cold Brew Mocha Freeze is guaranteed good timez.

It’s a sunny Saturday. I drove my convertible for fun for a few hours (with the top up – too sunny, too hot). I made the first stop at Costco and bought a Mocha Freeze for the road.

I drove through a beach town, shopped at ROSS to check out exotic spices, and ate at Popeye’s Chicken. I came home around 3 pm. I shall take a nap now. I’m having a slow and lazy weekend. I love it!

Have a nice weekend. Be safe.

Leaving Costco. Saturday lunch drive.
Limited Time: Jose’s Coffee Available Online

This is for a limited time – Jose’s flavored coffee is available on Don Francisco’s website. With that, Jose’s coffee will not come to Costco (roadshow) until further notice.

Because of the pandemic, Jose’s had stopped visiting Costco for the roadshow. I could not enjoy Chocolate Raspberry coffee last year. That made my pandemic-riddled holiday season seemed even more empty.

I rarely enjoy flavored coffee. In fact, I look down upon flavored coffee because they are not pure coffee. But, during the holiday season, I must have some flavored coffee. To me, flavored coffee is essential for creating that cozy holiday feeling. The flavor of Christmas is just as important as Christmas decorations.

My favorite Jose’s flavored coffee for the holidays is Chocolate Raspberry. This coffee smells like Christmas to me.

Our second pandemic holiday season should be more relaxing and enjoyable. I am glad and relieved that I can enjoy Jose’s coffee this year.

15th Costco Shopping in 2021 – $90.42 / $2165.35 this year

It’s amazing how people can get used to the global pandemic. I was wearing a mask, but it didn’t bother me much. I took my time and enjoyed my Costco shopping.

Coupons (member discount) saved $21.50.

Bottom of the cart: Kirkland Signature bottled water, Charmin bath tissues

I was happy to see the Christmas ribbons. The ribbons mean Christmas is coming to Costco in 3-4 weeks.

I bought Peet’s French Roast coffee. They were on sale ($4 off). I took it home and realized it was ground coffee, not coffee beans that I prefer. But, I guess I couldn’t really tell the difference, anyway. The coffee is excellent. I like it. It’s more enjoyable than Starbucks’ French Roast. Starbucks coffee is bitter (acidic). Your opinion may vary.

I like dumplings of any kind. People like it when food comes in small units. That’s why some people enjoy tacos. It’s fun eating small units of food. The same goes with hot wings & Hershey’s Kisses. If your kids don’t eat a full-size sandwich, try cutting them into small strips. I usually buy dumplings at Costco whenever they are on sale. I can boil them, steam them, or fry them. Dumplings are fun, exotic, tasty, and easy to prepare.

There were plenty of Clorox wipes. I found it fascinating that their containers now mention Covid-19 on the package. It’s a scary time, but also fascinating.

I have over a year’s supply of toilet paper, but I bought one more bag just to make myself feel better.

Chobani yogurts come out about 50 cents a cup. They are normally $1.00 or more at discount grocery stores.

Kirkland Signature’s sharp cheddar cheese (I bought 2) is super tasty and affordable.

After my Costco shopping, I bought a Cold Brew Mocha Freeze (with Chocolate) for the road.

First Sign of Christmas 2021

It’s Beginning To Look Like Christmas

Here’s the first sign of Christmas (2021) in Costco.

My regular visitors know how much I enjoy Christmas. Forget Christmas in July. I listen to Christmas music year-round. I have 70+ Christmas CDs (physical CD collection from the 90’s). I decorate my cubicle at work with a full-size Christmas tree with a train running around it (picture below)

Naturally, I enjoy looking at Christmas items in Costco.

I see these ribbons at Costco, usually at the end of July or early August. They rotate the designs of the ribbons every year. Last year, the ribbons had a slight hint of Winter. But this year, the ribbons scream Christmas~!! I like these.

After these ribbons, there will be about a month of calm at Costco. After 3-4 weeks, by September, there will be Christmas isles at Costco. Some items will look familiar. But they will also have stuff you have never seen before. You never know what you will find.

FYI: Some cool Christmas items sell out quickly at Costco, way before Christmas. And you may never find them anywhere else.

Costco’s Cold Brew Mocha Freeze

13th & 14th Costco Shopping in 2021 – $3.27 each visit / $2074.93 this year

I had Costco’s Cold Brew Mocha Freeze for the first time.

I took 3 days off from work. My plan was to take care of some errands, eat out, and enjoy my time alone as usual. On the first day, on my way to the tailor, I stopped by Costco and ordered a Cold Brew Mocha Freeze. When I said “One Mocha Freeze, please!” the lady immediately asked me if I wanted chocolate with it. My answer was “Yes”. The drink was a delight. 580 calories with chocolate was worth it. I recommend it to any coffee lover.

I put the Mocha Freeze in the cup holder, put on my driving gloves, and put the convertible top down. With that, my vacation had officially begun. I drove towards the ocean to look for the best tailor in town.

What I did during my 3 days off.

  • Took my Christmas coat to the tailor. I recently bought a green coat for the holiday season.
  • (Day 1) Ate a big lunch at a Cajun restaurant (shrimps, catfish, red snapper)
  • (Day 2) Ate a big KFC chicken lunch. (very disappointing, old chicken)
  • (Day 3) Ate a big fish and chips lunch with a bowl of clam chowder. (Amazing-good eating)
  • I saw the ocean 3 times.
  • Took my Prius station wagon to the dealership (software upgrade – safety recall).
  • Took Lyft ride twice.
  • Got my Prius back the next day.

On day 3, at the fish and chips parking lot, somebody stopped and complimented my sneakers (picture below). I rarely leave home since the pandemic. So, I was excited about talking to a stranger. I had a quick chit-chat with her and we bid each other good day. “You make my day,” I said with giddy.

FYI: Before the pandemic, people often complimented my shoes.
Shoes are my hobby (picture)

On my way home, I stopped by Costco and picked up a Cold Brew Mocha Freeze to mark the end of my 3 days off. Oh~, it was good. I see myself enjoying Cold Brew Mocha Freeze often in the future.

Costco’s Cold Brew Mocha Freeze is a guaranteed good time.
