Removing the Kirkland Sig Artichoke Heart lid

I’ve never been able to find a great jar lid remover for those big glass jars of Kirkland artichoke hearts until today.  At Amazon, I bought the Boa BO13010 Constrictor Aluminum Strap Wrench.  It works great.

I am almost tempted to buy that one. I never needed any tool to open jars when I was younger. But now I do use a rubber sheet on some jars. Even that is difficult sometimes.

I have a Costco employee remove the lid before I leave the store. I’ve complained about the size of these jars and how hard they are to open to no avail.

Just bought these for the first time the other day. I’m a big, strong guy in my early 30s and in the battle of Man vs Jar, the artichokes nearly won! I finally ran the lid under hot water and it opened right up.
