Costco newbie at a loss

Two questions: 1) Does Costco send out coupons in the mail? Because they would only take the address on my driver’s license which is my old address. argh. 2) Do certain Costco branches sell alcohol? If so, does anyone know which branches in the NY/NJ area do? Thank you!

Hi.

Make sure to get Costco Coupons, because one Costco Coupon Book almost pays for my 1 year membership.

1)
They do send out coupons in most part.
Some customers in certain cities do not get their coupons in mail. If that’s the case, you must ask at the service desk (don’t be shy to ask for it). You are a paying customer, ask for address update.

Also, you will NOT receive Costco coupons if you request them to respect your privacy. You must get yourself off from their Privacy List (I don’t know the proper term for it).

2)
Yes, Costco sells all kinds of beers, wines, and hard liquors. As far as I know, every Costco sells alcoholic beverages.  I don’t see why not in NY/NJ – but who knows.

FYI:
My driver’s license has my old address on it as well. But I receive Costco Coupon book to my current address.
