The Seattle Times reported that Costco said it would be phasing out Apple products, “per a mutual agreement between the companies.” Costco told the newspaper that it “sold iPods and pre-loaded iTunes cards for years, although never at huge discounts.” The retailer never sold any Apple products online. It was surprising that the two companies ever worked together in the first place.
