It’s that time of the year. But jumbo shrimps are not on sale for Thanksgiving. I enjoy shrimp cocktails while the turkey is being cooked. They didn’t have big-size turkeys last year. It was pathetic. Now that the pandemic is over, I expect to see big turkeys at Costco.
Turkey is cheap. The price difference between a 15-pound turkey and a 20-pound turkey is $5 – $10. I recommend everyone to bake a big turkey and enjoy leftovers. It’s so much more entertaining to bake a big turkey instead of a small one. I live alone, and this is my 12th (maybe 13th) year baking turkey alone. During that time, on 2 occasions, I have baked turkey for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. That’s freakin’ two turkeys in 2 months – for one person! Even I think that’s not normal.
It’s just fun. I don’t know what else to say…
Oh, and this year. I may focus on taking some decent videos and share them with you.
True, that’s a lot of turkey but turkey sandwiches and soup this time of year is part of the fun.
Do you still buy those Belgian cookies?
Looking forward to your videos.
Hi. Yes, hahaha, I bought 3 boxes (cans) of cookies last month. I need to put one can in the freezer to make it last a year.
yes, I would like to shoot some videos of the turkey this year.
See you!
