A happy new year for everyone. I can’t believe my favorite time of the year has come and went already. I’ll have to wait 7 months ’til I see the first sign of Christmas at Costco.

I didn’t buy anything special today.

Bona – this is a wood floor cleaner.

AA Batteries have an expiration date of 2022.

Then I have my first Costco hotdog of the year. It was a good time.

I hope 2013 will go by slowly. Time fly too fast for me.

Happy new year again. I will keep in touch.

Costco Mixing Bowls – 5 Stainless Steel with Lids
Thank you for visiting.

For many years, I wanted to some REAL mixing bowls. I was happy to see Kirkland Signature Mixing Bowls at my Costco warehouse. I believe these are special items. Once they are gone, they will not come back for a long time (or they will never come back). This is one reason I go to Costco weekly. You don’t want to miss out on good stuff.

Pro & Con: These are not as thick as the ones I saw at Bed Bath and Beyond that I liked. I can see rich folks will find them too thin. There are better ones (thicker ones) out there. But, if your standard is not as high, they are great buy. To me, they are perfect.

I’ve been using a cheap plastic bowl from 99 Cents Only Store to mix pancakes. So, this is a big step up for me. I wanted some good mixing bowls for the last 10 years.  I can finally afford them.

* Sorry, I forgot how much they were. I lost my receipt. They were $29.99 (maybe less ?).

I enjoy my time in the kitchen. Quality kitchen items make my time more enjoyable.

It was a very good shopping experience.

I wish Costco would keep Christmas stuff year-round.

I bought 2 lobster tails.

At the apartment I used to live in, I used to have absolutely no trick-or-treaters coming to my place on Halloween night. All the kids would go to the rich neighborhood (up on the hills).

We don’t have much kids in my new neighborhood. But my neighbors advised me I should get ready for 150-200 trick-or-treaters on Halloween night.

3 cans of Christmas cookies are for me. They will last 1 year until the next holiday season. I am currently on the last can of cookies from last year. Oh, I LOVE these cookies. I like this because they remind me of Christmas. I like to enjoy a little Christmas year-round.

Oh, I met my ex-girlfriend at Costco. We had a nasty breakup 3 years ago? But we were happy to see each other. She made a remark about how much she enjoyed my cookies.

Happy Sunday Morning – Costco Coffee & Christmas Cookies
Thank you for visiting.
John

Happy Sunday morning everyone.

I am enjoying my Sunday morning routine. Coffee and cookies from Costco on Sunday morning became my tradition.

Costco sells these cookies during the Christmas season. I bought 3 cans last year. I still have half of a can left.

I shall buy 3 more cans next month.

I will not buy any more Chocolates of the World. I still have 2 full jars left from the last year. I am officially sick of Chocolates of the world.

OK, I’m getting ready for a pancake breakfast. I am looking forward to a sweet Sunday nap.

Sunday nap is also becoming my weekly tradition. I schedule my Sunday so I can take a nap.

In the plastic bag is a lobster tail.

I am very careful with how much shampoo & conditioner I use. I think can make them last about 9 months to a year (hopefully longer).

I plan to date the bottles the first time I use them, so I will know exactly how long they last.
