Here is a funny & interesting story.
Costco management took the unprecedented step of removing a shopper from its Oakland, California store for abusing its free sample program. Bill Wentworth of San Jose, CA was forcibly ushered to the exit after management spotted him eating a 14th lobster dip cracker.
Wentworth utilized crude props to dupe unsuspecting Costco workers, such as fake beards, mirrored sunglasses, and wheelchairs. He also spoke to workers using fake foreign accents….

This was a cool story, john.
It does make one wonder about how much we are being watched…
I also wonder why this man wanted to eat so much sample food.
Was he too poor to buy food, or testing to see how much he could get away with, or just crazy?

I wouldn’t be surprised if he went to Costco with a buddy who was video taping everything.
Also, the article said that he spoke in foreign accent at times. How many of you strike conversation at free sample tables? (besides “thank you”)
The way I look at it, he was being obnoxious. He must have thought he was creating art.
