This is a personal blog. I am not affiliated with Costco in any way.
But, we needed a place for Costco shoppers to say hi.
I hope you enjoy the stay. Have a nice day.

I am not OK. Pray for me.

*Update - my car was declated total loss.

I was driving to work Friday morning and I got hit from behind very hard. The picture may not look like much, but look at it closely.  Front side of her car parts are embedded in the backside of my car.  I had to pull out part of her license plate from inside my muffler.  Her radiator was destroyed.  It was a hard hit.

There is no broken bone.  There was no blood.  But, 5 days later, I have a headache that seems to be getting worse.  And I feel nauseated.  I think I'll have to see a doctor.

I had to get a rental car, go out car shopping, talk to insurance company (many times), arrange to get my car picked up, etc...  I had to remind myself not to skip meal.  I had to pay close attention to myself so I will not forget my keys, paperwork, wallet...  This was the time I had to take care of myself.

All this is discouraging and depressing because I realize that I am alone in this world.  God bless single people.  I keep telling you that one thing I envy the most is people who have family of their own.

Below (picture) - green circle is the opening of my muffler.  It cut the license plate (of the person who hit me) like a cookie dough.  I couldn't get this off, so I had to use a screw driver to put a hole and drive back home slowly.  Believe me, guys... it was a hard hit.

Several days were blurry, then I realized that Christmas is only a week away.  I got robbed out of my Christmas.  I only have12 days to Christmas.  How poetic.  It reminds me of my 12 days of Christmas in 2011.  Oh, how much I love Christmas. I wish the spirit of Christmas will make things better for me.

I guess I should feel thankful that it's not worse... but my life is not normal.  It's not THAT bad, but pray for me.

God bless everyone.  I will keep you updated.

Thank you very much.  It's so nice to hear from you.  Merry Christmas.

Yes, I will see a doctor tomorrow morning.  I have to drive to Los Angeles County.  I am already little paranoid about driving in a big city during rush hour.

I feel OK every morning.  Then, as day progress, the headache will come back... and the headache will stay with me all day and afternoon - until I go to sleep.

OH!  I shall visit some big car dealerships while I'm in a big city.  They tend to give away good quality calendars (with cool pictures of cars) around this time.

For Christmas gift to myself, I am shopping for a somewhat expensive wallet that I wouldn't normally buy ($150 budget).  I am the only family member here, so...  (fill in the blank)

Merry Christmas. Thank you for keeping touch.

Please take care and make sure you go to a doctor to get checked out. Whiplash can cause nausea and headaches so hopefully your doctor can refer you to physical or massage therapy to help ease the pain. I hope you can enjoy your favorite season even with your injuries. You are not alone, you have many readers of your blog that care! Please keep us updated. Merry Christmas!

Thank you so much.

Yeah.... I still have the same headache right now.  With same nausea.  I am scheduled to see a doctor Monday morning.

Thank you so much.  I shall go out Christmas shopping this weekend. Merry Christmas. Ho! Ho! Ho!

I bought a 2016 Prius station wagon.  OMG, it's a lot of technology.  I like it.  (I had a 2002 Camry with a cassette player).

Praying for you. As Linda said I think you need to see a doctor. the symptoms you are describing sound like a concussion. This sounds like a terrible experience for you, but I"m glad it wasn't worse. I love your blog and I will keep you in my thoughts. You are not alone!

Thank you very much, Linda. Yes, you are right.

I plan to get a ham from Costco, and make pea soup with the bone, too.

In different circumstances, my car could have exploded or caught on fire.  I am lucky I didn't get hit by another car.  It took place in rush hour on fast freeway.

Thank you for keeping touch.  Talk to you later. :)

Merry Christmas.  Good times.

Make sure you go to a doctor, you may have a concussion. I believe it was a bad accident and very scary. I was rear-ended once and my car was totaled. I was very shaky about driving for a long time after that. It's a normal reaction to feel scared Please don't feel like you're alone. I'm sure you have more friends than you know, who care, and would help if you asked them. You can still enjoy Christmas, just focus on what you have, and how lucky you are that the accident wasn't worse than it was.
